GGspeak for developers

Send alerts, deploys and notices from other tools into a GGspeak text channel. One secret link, one JSON POST.

Incoming webhooks are live. Someone who manages the community creates the webhook under Integrations in the community settings, and the outside tool sends JSON to its link.

Just swap the link

Anything that already posts to a Discord or Slack webhook works here. Change the URL and nothing else.

The alert updates itself

Send the same key and the card moves from firing to resolved instead of filling the channel with messages.

Payloads can't ping anyone

The role that gets called is picked on the webhook, and only when an alert fires. A leaked link can’t ping your whole community.

Deliveries in plain sight

“Send a test” and the last 20 deliveries, with the body that arrived, live in the app.

GGspeak’s integrations work has four phases, with no dates yet. This is the first one.

  1. Incoming webhooks per channel. Available.
  2. Apps with tokens and scopes, signed outgoing events over HTTP, and a portal to register apps.
  3. Slash commands and buttons answered over HTTP, and an app directory.
  4. Apps in voice (sounds and audio) and a real-time event stream.

When a phase ships, it lands here and in API changes.
